Chapel Anniversary
On Sunday 5th October, we joined together to celebrate our Chapel Anniversary. We were delighted to welcome Rev. Mark Stafford to lead our worship - Mark grew up through the church and has gone on to become a vicar in the Anglican Church, currently stationed at St Mary's Ewell. The service was filled with praise and thanksgiving of past and present, and hopes and visions for the future. The service included: hymns, Male Voice Choir performances, readings, prayers, sermon and a poem. After the service, the Chapel Hall was filled with a buzz as everyone enjoyed some refreshments and wonderful homemade cakes.
Remembrance
At Hopwas Methodist Church, we have a wonderful team of creative people that arrange beautiful poppy displays each year as we commemorate and acknowledge the annual Remembrance Day events.
Carols by Candlelight
On Sunday 21st December, Hopwas Methodist Church gathered together for Carols by Candlelight. Through readings and carols, we journeyed to build up the nativity scene and reflect on the gifts they bring.
